Mediation within the workplace is becoming increasingly recognised as a cost effective way in resolving disputes. It can be a stressful and challenging for employees and employers when a dispute arises and our course in tailored to train for an early intervention when dealing with workplace disputes through simple, flexible and cost effective techniques. The most recent Employment Act has introduced a Code encouraging early intervention and resolution in workplace disputes and our Workplace Mediation is designed to support the Code.
Who is the course for?
The Workplace Programme is intended for any individual or company wanting to implement mediation within their workplace. The course is designed for public and private organisations of all sizes, be it small, medium or large and will appeal to a variety of people, including:
- Managing Directors
- Partners within a practice
- HR directors and personnel
- Employment consultants
- Legal professionals working within a business or organisation
- Educational workers
- Healthcare workers
- University staff
- Any other employer or employee wishing to implement effective mediation within their working environment
There are no prerequisites for this course. All we ask is that you have enthusiasm, come with an open mind, have excellent communication skills and are willing to engage in role-plays and shared learning. We ask all our trainees to complete some preliminary reading which will provide you with a general understanding of mediation before attending the course.
